driving, not so much...but we managed with the help of some baby Einstein. :) He was pretty good, actually, he just didn't like it when he was wide awake and totally restricted and it was pitch dark all around him. it meant a few desperate stops at gas stations on the way down, looking for a charger that could plug in our laptop when the battery died (since ours was STOLEN out of our car a couple of months ago..grrrr...) but it was sweet relief when we found one b/c a screaming baby in the car is no. fun. All in all, though, a very pleasant trip I thought!! kudos to kevin who does all of the driving and lets me sleep most of the way. :)
very sad to say our plans changed en route as we had to avoid our first stop due to the flu... (hope things are on the up & up at Pete & LL's house)..so we arrived in Florida a few days early and have been loving the break. :)

Awww! Zach is getting so big! I was shocked to see him sitting in the one picture when I viewed your pics on my phone and realized now he's got hands holding him up. He looks so chubby and happy! Love everyone's big smiles and the pics of Zach's first swim! Kiss those chubby cheeks for me and tell Ashleigh what she's heard a thousand times over - she looks just like you!!! Beautiful.
THat's too bad your friends were sick! Hope they are feeling better now! SO happy you are having a great time and could be flexible!
