the much-anticipated (by me anyways) movie night!!

it was good we provided these b/c Jo really needed them. I think she used the whole box.

i realize i am starring in this post but it is not b/c i want to make sure you notice my tshirt. (although secretly i do. its just so not "me" to do something like this, its more a tim-charlene/greg-charity sort of thing to do :) ) THis sequence though is to showcase how incredibly delicious (you almost cannot imagine) this cake by Cher (heart-shaped no less) tasted!! Thanks so much Cher!! mmmmmmmMMMMM!! If you knew how good it was you would be drooling right now.

this was that wonderfully warm weekend that we enjoyed a couple of weeks ago. it was wonderful to be outside but the snow family was extremely emaciated by the next day.

i will point out that the momma/poppa shapes are no accident. Kev purposely designed himself to have a big strong chest and me to be just plain round. and to think i made that t-shirt after that! :)

i won't lie.

that was the first time trying them on the potty together and the ONLY dual success story thus far. :( must have been flukey. Josh does consistently pee on it though, so thats a start. jadie, however, a whole other story...he has since begun the "scared of the potty" excuse and when forced on there will say "it don't work". Sure works fine 5 minutes later in the diaper though. i have a feeling this will be a loooooooong process. wish me luck!! actually instead pray for patience for me. :) and co-operation for Jades. :) love to you all!

and it actually worked!! no kidding!! i even took a picture to prove it, but of course that would be vulgar to post. i'm actually kind of horrified that i took it, but i was so excited at the time. :)
this is all thanks to Margarita's lending me "the baby whisperer" and as i skimmed it last night before returning it to her i got all excited to try out the potty training ideas this morning. i will be honest and confess that it was the one time we tried it today, but it was a start. :) wahoo!! (how about the gut on Joshua? haha!!)
