and it actually worked!! no kidding!! i even took a picture to prove it, but of course that would be vulgar to post. i'm actually kind of horrified that i took it, but i was so excited at the time. :)this is all thanks to Margarita's lending me "the baby whisperer" and as i skimmed it last night before returning it to her i got all excited to try out the potty training ideas this morning. i will be honest and confess that it was the one time we tried it today, but it was a start. :) wahoo!! (how about the gut on Joshua? haha!!)

How are things going now - a coupla days after the post? :) I'm not much of an optimist when it comes to potty training - I guess that's b/c things never go so well for me! Hope they continue with their success, though!

We're enjoying your posts as usual, Carole, especially the delightful long one before this one... :) Maybe this isn't an internet topic, but could you give me a little info on this book/method (maybe by email)? I could really use it for my 3-year-old who should have been out of diapers a looong time ago but is still sitting on the potty for hours every day.
