hi! here are some highlights from the boys soccer this season...Jade (who turns SIX next month and is counting down the days until the big day) LOVES it. He tries really hard now (as opposed to last year when he didn't seem to ever follow what was going on) and is fun to watch.
This is video from tonight's game. I don't know why the video is such lousy quality on here but you get the idea. How about that field? It looks like they play in a desert!! Tonight he scored twice which was very big for him b/c he had only scored one other time this season and the ref didn't see it!! Thankfully I was taking a video and so he still got his ice cream. :)

I have video of Josh's one and only goal, too (like a month ago)...thankfully I have video of it, since he has hardly touched the ball since. :) He generally runs around with the pack but stays a safe distance away from the ball. drives his dad crazy, he almost refuses to watch him. :) Anyways, his video won't upload but it was quite celebrated being one of the only goals of the season for his team so far...tonight they didn't even make it to the other half of the field. ah, well. He is only 4. :)

We always enjoyed soccer where we used to live and miss some of the people there but it is pretty good here too! They are hard core here, though, they haven't cancelled a game yet this season despite the intense heat. Thankful for the beautiful breeze, and THANKFUL FOR RAIN TONIGHT!! Praise the Lord. This scorching summer is bringing new meaning to the droughts we read about in Bible times.
